This beautiful Victorian conversion necklace features a stunning crescent moon set with natural Pearls, there are two rows of smaller Pearls and larger Pearls to the ends of the crescent. Converted from a brooch, we have added a vintage belcher chain with bolt ring clasp.
Crescent moons were often used in jewellery in the Victorian times, symbolising the divine feminine and representing the moons cycles in nature, celebrating the similarity in the female body. They were often given as gifts to bless the wearer with fertility.
Made in 15ct Gold (tested) and with a 9ct Gold chain.
The crescent moon measures 3.2cm x 3cm. The chain measures 16” with the necklace hanging around 17” when worn.
A stunning necklace which would look equally cool dressed down when worn over a simple tee or glammed up for an evening occasion.
